In continued support of student success during these uncertain times, CU Boulder is offering an extended grace period for students looking to change their grading basis for most spring 2020 classes.

In addition to the pass/fail restrictions already lifted for spring 2020, undergraduate and graduate students will now have until Monday, May 11, at 11:59 p.m., to change one or more classes from a letter grade to pass/fail or vice versa. Note that Colorado Law does not use the pass/fail option for its courses, but rather has changed most law courses to a credit/no-credit basis for spring 2020.

To change the grade mode for a class during the grace period, students can submit a pass/fail extension request. The Office of the Registrar will process requests beginning May 12, and transcripts with final grades will be available on May 14.
