Classified staff merit pay increases explained

On May 23, the Colorado Department of Personnel & Administration (DPA), Division of Human Resources (DHR), issued the annual rate increases and pay plan memorandum for fiscal year 2017-18. Merit increases are applied based on the employee's 2016-17 performance rating and salary location in the pay range as noted in the matrix below.
