Help the community prepare for a public health emergency
In the event of a large-scale public health emergency, the University of Colorado Boulder, in collaboration with Boulder County Public Health, would distribute medication to the campus community. Help health care providers practice this process by joining the simulated point of dispensing (POD) exercise on Friday, June 16.
This emergency preparedness simulation is part of the statewide Public Health Emergency Dispensing Exercise (PHED Ex) happening the same day and will allow CU Boulder to collaborate with community partners to identify gaps and areas for improvement in the university's emergency planning.
Students, staff, faculty and community members are encouraged to participate in this exercise. Volunteers will select one of two shifts and a location (the walk-up location at the University Memorial Center or the drive-through location at Lot 544 on East Campus). Refreshments will be provided.
