CASE pedestrian closure

Starting Monday, Feb. 6, the service parking lot between the University Memorial Center and the Center for Academic Success and Engagement construction site will be closed to pedestrian traffic during the day for at least the next three months. Closures will run roughly from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each weekday.

The purpose of the closure is to increase safety near the construction site. Construction crews will man gates at each end of the lot during the day to allow for deliveries to the University Memorial Center (UMC) loading dock and the Cristol Chemistry loading dock. Additionally, there are three ADA-accessible parking spaces in the service lot and ADA-accessible spaces near the chemistry building that will remain open for use by showing gate attendants a parking placard.
