In 2016, we again celebrated a campus community that brings innovation and positive impacts to Colorado and the nation. We marked new discoveries, faculty achievements, Olympic medalists and a resurgent football program while welcoming high-profile visitors to campus and sending satellites throughout our solar system. Described as one of the leading critics of recent American foreign policy, Robert G. Kaufman has been named the 2017-18 Visiting Scholar in Conservative Thought and Policy at CU Boulder.

The User Experience group at the Office of Information Technology is conducting research on the student large lecture experience on our campus and we’d loved to hear your thoughts. Parking Services extends thanks to all who supported the Food for Fines event prior to Thanksgiving. With 207 parking citations forgiven and 1,784 items donated, the community food drive was a win-win for everyone involved!

In the past decade, thanks to an overwhelming scientific consensus that global temperatures are rising, “eating local” has become a way for average citizens to make a difference. And thanks to a $24,000 CU Boulder Outreach Award, a group of faculty and students will reach even farther into the community to increase “food literacy.”
