Join the global climate summit―in person or virtually

This week marks one month out from the Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Summit Dec. 1–4. Co-hosted by United Nations Human Rights and CU Boulder, we’re inviting Buffs and the extended community to join us in person in Boulder for the summit. In-person and virtual attendance is free and open to the community.

Track and offset your carbon footprint

While bringing people together to discuss a human rights-based approach to climate solutions, we also want to be mindful of the environmental impact a summit may create.

Partner with us! All summit attendees can track and offset their impact with the Right Here, Right Now carbon tracking app. The app is available for both in-person and virtual attendance and allows users to gauge their footprint and even pay toward carbon credits to offset their impact.

Make it a Boulder weekend

Don't live in Boulder? Make a weekend out of it! The Dec. 1–4 event will bring thought leaders, youth activists, scientific, political, educational, cultural and industry experts from around the world to campus for public keynotes and panels exploring how climate change impacts fundamental rights, including the right to food, safe water, housing and health.

Visit Boulder, The Convention and Visitors Bureau, offers many tips and recommendations for making it a full weekend at the base of the Flatirons.

The city is surrounded by 45,000 acres of open space, with forest and foothills always minutes from your hotel door. Get tips on dining (including a fun dining passport), transportation, cultural activities, such as the Museum of Boulder, shopping and more from the visitors bureau.

Learn more and register for the Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Summit.
