Julie Poppen

Julie Poppen serves in a special projects role, primarily supporting owned and earned communications around the arrival of the Sundance Film Festival in early 2027, which will feature films in three campus venues. She is a longtime Colorado daily newspaper journalist turned higher ed communicator who thrives on sharing high-impact stories that are strategically aligned to the university's mission.
