For 31 years, Rob Drugan has taught a course on behavioral medicine at Brown University and the University of New Hampshire. Last year, he decided to take his course—which focuses on the benefits of exercise—across the continental U.S., traveling by bike with Connie Eppich.

The race for peace and freedom drove CU Boulder’s first Olympian

David Bolen became the first CU student to qualify for the U.S. Olympic team in 1948, running the 400-meter dash. His trip to the 1948 Olympics in London ignited a passion in what sports could do for world peace, and led to a post-Olympic life as an ambassador to multiple countries.
