TRANSforming Gender: Reception for 'OutLoud Photovoice' exhibit
4–5 p.m. Norlin Library
Join us for a special exhibit exploring student, staff, faculty and alum experiences of living life as a transgender, nonbinary or gender creative person. This exhibit will include photographs and personal audio narratives exploring each person’s journey, how they create joy around their gender identity, and the struggles they face in today’s political climate. This is a powerful opportunity to learn how trans identities and experiences are unique to each individual and the breadth of experiences.

Mindfulness Practices for Graduate Students

Join Kim Stephens, Wardenburg acupuncturist and mindfulness educator, to learn evidence-based mindfulness meditation practices to improve focus and concentration and overall wellbeing. In this session you'll learn how to use the breath as an anchor to steady and calm the wandering mind. Key practices: breath awareness, anchor breathing and counting breaths.
