National Transfer Student Week

Calling all transfer Buffs! Celebrate National Transfer Student Week at CU Boulder. This week will be filled with events designed specifically for transfer students that will allow you to meet other transfer Buffs, experience campus and have fun! Events are open to all transfers, and we hope to see you there!

Behind the Scenes Election Tour

Boulder County Elections is hosting student-geared ballot processing tours! See the journey of a ballot, how signatures on mail ballots are verified, all the steps in place to maintain accuracy and security, and how Boulder County Elections keeps everyone’s vote anonymous. Click here for dates and times and to RSVP. 

How You Use: Exploring Substance Use

The State of the First Amendment: Press Freedom

Join the Keller Center for the Study of the First Amendment for the second in a series of campus fora about the current status and enduring importance of the Five Freedoms of the First Amendment, focusing here on press freedoms. 

Electrified Transportation Research Expo

Interested in electrified transportation? Join the ASPIRE Engineering Research Center (Advancing Sustainability through Powered Infrastructure for Roadway Electrification) team for a mini expo to learn what they've been working on and how you can get involved. There will be poster presentations, demos and more. Free food and drinks will be provided! 

DIY Night: ‘Coraline’ felt dolls

Create your own button-eyed felt doll while we listen to the “Coraline” soundtrack. All supplies are provided, space is limited and sign-up is required to attend.

‘Only When It's Funny’: Free Speech and the Arts

The question of legal restrictions on artistic expression has long been debated, but the question of private censorship in the arts is much less well understood. Join university lecturer and founder and CEO of Passage Press, Jonathan Keeperman, as he argues that private censorship in the arts is a pervasive and urgent problem whose ultimate solution is the development of independent and non-monopolistic creative economies.

Lug Your Mug

Come get a free coffee if you Lug Your Mug! All you must do is bring your own mug and you get rewarded with a free coffee. There will be no single-use cups available.  

S’mores & Scares: Buffs Take on Terror in the Corn

  5–9 p.m.    ​Anderson Farms 
Join us for an evening of adventure at Anderson Farms. We'll explore pumpkin patches, get lost in the corn maze, meet farm animals and cozy up by the firepits. Free tickets are available for those who are brave enough! RSVP to attend. Shuttle buses will be available to transport students to and from Anderson Farms: 

  • Shuttles to Anderson: Available from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
  • Shuttles back to campus: Available from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Free Fiske Thursdays

Grab your Buff OneCard and head over to Fiske Planetarium to enjoy Free Fiske Thursdays! All 7 p.m. shows and star talks are free for CU Boulder students on Thursdays.

Join the Boulder bike community for a fun ride and dance party! The theme for this ride is “biker gang.” Bring a light!

Murder Mystery Night @ the Climbing Gym

You'll have to complete some climbs to collect the clues, consider the evidence and solve the mystery! Free to climbing gym members or day pass holders.
