CU Book Access lowers price, improves opt-out process

Last year the CU Book Store launched CU Book Access, a flat-rate course materials program designed to provide all undergraduate students with their required course materials—by the first day of classes—at an affordable, predictable cost. 

Based on student, family and faculty feedback, year two of the program will feature program enhancements including:

• A reduced flat rate of $269 (not including tax) each semester, fall and spring
• Free Blue Books for all students from the CU Book Store
• Improved opt-out and program selection options 
• A streamlined course material adoption tool for faculty, accessible in Canvas for spring 2025 courses

Eligible undergraduate students are automatically opted-in to CU Book Access when they enroll in classes. Learn more about CU Book Access.
