Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders will be a keynote speaker at the 2024 Conference on World Affairs (CWA) at CU Boulder in a co-hosted event with the Center for Leadership on Friday, April 12, at 2 p.m. in Macky Auditorium. The center’s director, Stefanie Johnson, will engage coach in a discussion about his leadership on and off the field.
The event is free and open to the public, with 40% of the tickets reserved for CU students. Tickets are required to attend.
A model for leadership across several areas and author of the recent book, “Elevate and Dominate—21 Ways to Win On and Off the Field,” Coach Prime will share his insights for how he inspires the next generation, his coaching team, his CU colleagues and his own children.
This year’s conference will boast 70 panel discussions, performances and keynote events with three main themes: leadership, global equity and the next 100 years. A 76-year CU and Boulder tradition, all of the conference’s events are open to all without charge.
Students and community members comprise the volunteer program committee that selected each of this year’s speakers and performers.
