This weekend brings an exhibit exploring the Ross Sea, adaptive fitness training, a projection mapping workshop with ATLAS, the Vietnamese Student Association’s Lunar New Year Show and more.

Friday, Feb. 3

Ross Sea: The Last Ocean

 Feb. 3–5  Varying times  Museum of Natural History, BioLounge
This ongoing exhibit explores the last ocean frontier that has not been irreversibly harmed by humans. The region is now the world’s largest Marine Protected Area. 

Friday Night Film Series: Till

 8 p.m.  CHEM 140
Till is a 2022 drama film based on a true story. The film follows events after the murder of Emmett Till and exposes the racism that took place.

Catapult: A BFA dance concert

Saturday, Feb. 4

B2 Workshop: Projection Mapping for Performances

10 a.m.–4 p.m.  Roser ATLAS Center, Room B2
Explore the art of producing visual content in the Black Box Experimental Studio.This free event will work with some of ATLAS B2’s advanced projection technologies. 

The Vietnamese Student Association’s Lunar New Year Show

5–10 p.m.  UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom
Join the Vietnamese Student Association and the Cultural Events Board for the annual Lunar New Year Show. The event will include a night market featuring free food and drinks from local Asian vendors, local artists, multicultural clubs on campus and much more.

Hearts and Minds film screening

 7:30 p.m.  Muenzinger Auditorium
Celebrate the anniversary of the signing of the Paris Peace Accords. The Center for Asian Studies and the International Film Series are commemorating this event with a free screening of Hearts and Minds

Laser Fantasy Doors & Hendrix

Enjoy a blend of ’60s rock and psychedelia with mind bending visuals at this Fiske laser show.

Adaptive Fitness Training Series

 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m.  Rec Center, Fit Well Suite
What techniques work for your fitness routine? Work with a personal trainer on adaptive fitness training. 

CU men’s basketball vs. Stanford

After hosting the Golden Bears, CU is playing against another California school, Stanford University.
