Wrap up 2022 with free events! This month brings holiday festivities, self-care support for finals, game tournaments, a showing of Don’t Worry Darling, band and orchestra performances, free swag bags, job seeking advice, warm drinks and more—end the year on a high note!

Join United Nations Human Rights and CU Boulder for the Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Summit addressing the interconnectedness of human rights and climate change.

CU on Friday: Home for the Holidays

 Dec. 2  4–6 p.m.  The Connection
Join fellow Buffs for a beloved UMC tradition. Free gingerbread house decorating, chili, corn chips and other goodies will be provided. The event also includes half-priced bowling and billiards. 

DJ Σpsilon at Club 156

LGBTQ+ and Allies Climbing Night

Pause for Paws (therapy dogs)

Are you stressed about finals? Take a pause and enjoy some kind pups! Therapy dogs are a great way to relieve stress and anxiety. 

Journey to the Center of Stillness: Guided meditation in the dome

 Dec. 5  4–5 p.m.  Fiske Planetarium 
Reconnect the mind and body before finals. This free guided meditation cultivates ease of mind and profound peace. 

Pingpong tournament

Visit The Connection for a single or double knock-out pingpong tournament! Prizes available for top finishers. Sign up starts at 6p.m. at The Connection Front Desk. 

Concert Band and Campus Orchestra

This free event presents back-to-back live performances by the band and orchestra. The program includes works from Camille Saint-Saëns, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Arturo Márquez.

Mobile Food Pantry

The Mobile Food Pantry is free to Buffs and community members. Resources will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Science Under the Dome: ‘Journey to the Center of the Embryo’

Join postdoctoral researcher Anneke Kakebeen for a deep dive into the womb. This talk will discuss the embryonic journey and questions that remain unanswered. CU Boulder students are admitted for free with a valid Buff OneCard.

Friday Night Film Series: Don’t Worry Darling

Don’t Worry Darling is a 2022 film starring Florence Pugh, Harry Styles and Chris Pine. The film follows a 1950s housewife and her husband in a strange experimental community.
