This week brings a Zayo Group site visit, a bagel bar, Crafternoon, an opportunity to Pie a Pi for a good cause, Tea at Three, an arctic presentation, extreme bowling, yoga and more.

I Love Mondays: Bagel bar

 2 p.m. ​ UMC north dining area
Enjoy a bagel while meeting fellow peers and learning about CU Boulder. 

DIY Sweater Upcycling

 5:30 p.m. ​ Fleming, Idea Forge
Turn down the heat and turn up the funk with DIY Sweater Upcycling. Learn how to upcycle clothing and mitigate climate change! Attendees will learn sewing techniques and start doing patchwork on their sweaters. Yummy local food provided.

Zayo Group employer site visit

Crafternoon

Anderson Language and Technology Center (ALTEC) is hosting an event where students can craft while learning a new language. 


Wednesday, Nov. 16

Pie a Pi

 11 a.m.–2 p.m. ​ Engebretson Quad (outside Rustandy)
This is your chance to pie a Delta Sigma Pi! All pie proceeds go to the KOBU Foundation who helps deliver meals to food-insecure families in Boulder County. 

Tea at Three

 3–4 p.m. ​ C4C, Room N320
The Center for Inclusion and Social Change is holding a relaxing event with free refreshments! Students will make new friends and learn about upcoming events. 


Thursday, Nov. 17

Transfer Student Yoga

 9:30–10:30 a.m. ​ C4C, Abrams Lounge
Are you a transfer student? Take some time for yourself during a relaxing yoga session. Bring your mat and water bottle to this simple yoga flow. 

CU Housing Fair

 4–7 p.m. ​ Village Center, Multipurpose Room

Friday, Nov. 18

Drifting North: Into the Polar Night

 7–8 p.m. ​ Fiske Planetarium  $8–$12
Step out into the arctic ocean with this climate presentation. Scientists will race the fading lights to set up the Multidisciplinary Drifting Observatory for the Study of Arctic Climate.

Extreme Bowling

 7–10 p.m. ​ The Connection  $3.50 per game, $2.75 for shoes
