SpaceX Falcon launchCU Boulder is hosting a very special visit from the SpaceX Polaris Dawn crew.

Join us for a panel discussion with Jared Isaacman, Scott Poteet, Anna Menon, and Sarah Gillis.

While in-person attendance is limited and fully booked, we invite all of campus, our alumni, and external partners to join a livestream of the event.

Monday, Nov. 14
6:30 - 8 p.m. MST

Gillis earned her Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from CU Boulder in 2017. The launch will also include experiments from aerospace Professors Allie Anderson and Torin Clark.

Polaris Dawn is expected to launch no earlier than March 2023 from Cape Canaveral aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.

The crew will spend up to five days in orbit conducting research on human health and laser-based communications technology. The mission will also include the first commercial spacewalk and will take advantage of Falcon 9 and Dragon’s maximum performance, flying higher than any Dragon mission to date.

The panel will be broadcast live from the Aerospace Engineering Sciences building at CU Boulder. A recording of the event will also be available at a later date.
