Election Day is less than a month away, and while your vote is personal, the process does not happen in a vacuum. From candidates and measures to what happens to your ballot after its cast, government information librarians can help you find the answers to your most pressing local, state, and federal government questions.

Find us outside Norlin Library’s West Entrance (weather permitting) handing out State of Colorado election bluebooks on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 8, 2022 (Election Day from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.)

The University Libraries’ Government Information Library has also compiled a list of election resources, including information from the local, state, and federal level issues.

“It’s important to be informed when voting,” Allan Van Hoye, government information librarian said. “Colorado State bluebooks give you an easy way to find impartial analysis and text of Colorado issues on the ballot. We are happy to help you find further resources and information.”

For those unable to attend any of the following events or have follow-up questions, the Libraries are here for you! Request a Research Consultation, Ask a Librarian or email Governement Information. You can also find bluebooks near the elevators on the 1st floor of Norlin Library and online in English, Spanish, and audio versions.

The Government Information Library is part of the Rare and Distinctive Collections and a regional library of the Federal Depository Library Program as well as a Preservation Steward for U.S. Congressional publication in partnership with the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO).
