On-campus student job fair 

2–4 p.m. UMC South Terrace Tent
Looking for a new gig? The on-campus job fair has got you covered! Students who attend the fair can explore opportunities, meet employers and learn how to apply. Hourly and work-study positions are available to current undergraduate and graduate students. 

Sandia Day 2022

2:15–5 p.m.  Gallogly Discovery Learning Center, first floor
In celebration of the growing partnerships between engineering and Sandia National Laboratory, the College of Engineering and Applied Science is hosting a networking event with research presentations and poster sessions for Sandia Day 2022. Students, staff and faculty are welcome to attend. Registration is not required.

Centers welcome back breakfast

Stop by the Olson Atrium for bagels and coffee. All centers and some clubs will be available with program and involvement opportunities. 

Pride picnic

5–6:30 p.m. Regent Administrative Center, Regent Lawn (Abram's Lounge if inclement weather)
The Pride Office is hosting CU’s annual pride picnic. LGBTQ+ staff, students and faculty are invited to attend. Attendees will learn about upcoming events and LGBTQ+ resources while enjoying games and a picnic lunch.

Stress less and start strong

2–4 p.m.  UMC Underpass
Start the new semester off strong with HealthBuffs. The workshop explores mindfulness techniques, stress-relieving activities and more. 

Deming Center welcome back tie-dye bbq 

3–4 p.m. Leeds School of Business West Lawn
Deming Center invites all Buffs to their Welcome Back Tie-Dye BBQ this Wednesday! The event includes lawn games, food, and tie-dying. Those interested should RSVP here.  


Thursday, Sept. 1

How to find an internship

1:30–2:30 p.m.  Virtual
Securing an internship can help you stand out from the crowd of applicants. This virtual event will give you internship advice such as where to search and how to interview. Sign up on Handshake. 

CU Bike Fest

2–6 p.m. Farrand Field
Do you ride your bike to school? Do you enjoy music and food? Bike Fest may be for you! Bike riding is a quick and sustainable way to get around town. The event includes free bike-themed shirts, bike service and more.


Friday, Sept. 2

First-gen resource fair

10:30 a.m. to noon  Center for Community, Abrams Lounge
Are you the first student in your family to go to college? The Office of First-Generation Programs & Enrichment is here to help. The fair helps student build community and navigate their college life.  

Ralphie’s Corral

5 p.m.  Duane Physics and Astrophysics, Duane Field
Ralphie’s Corral is a chance to take photos with everyone’s favorite buffalo! The free event is open to all and includes giveaways, games, music and merch.
