New Employee Passport highlights avenues for faculty, staff engagement
The Office of Strategic Resources and Support (SRS) has debuted a new Employee Passport aimed at fostering faculty and staff engagement—complete with the chance to be entered into an end-of-semester drawing for an Apple iPad or one of 10 CU Book Store gift certificates in the amounts of $100 (5) or $200 (5).
The passport booklet and website highlight key opportunities for CU Boulder employees, their friends and family members to participate in the campus events and discourse that help define our university community.
Volunteer for Fall Welcome activities? Attend a speaker? Participate in Buffs OneRead? The chances to engage are plentiful on our campus.
Each time employees participate in an event or other engagement on campus, they can “stamp” their passports at colorado.edu/srs/passport to be entered into the drawing. The more engagement and stamps, the more chances employees have to win.
“As we continue to emerge from the pandemic, this passport is intended as a guide for our faculty and staff to continue finding ways to connect or reconnect to campus life and each other—to be reminded of the impact we make on the lives of our students and society, and the innovation your efforts fuel and enable every day,” said Chief Operating Officer Patrick O’Rourke, who leads SRS. “No matter our individual roles on campus, we are all contributing to something greater than ourselves.”
In addition to the ability to stamp passports, each passport booklet includes a 25% off coupon for CU-logoed clothing or gift items at the CU Book Store, for use Sept. 12–30.
Employee Passport booklets have begun being distributed out to the colleges, schools and operational units around campus, and they’ll continue to be handed out at key campus events. Request booklets for your unit here.
