Resources and support for teaching, learning & working remotely

Submitted by stauffeg on

As the spring 2022 semester starts with remote instruction and some in our campus community displaced by the Marshall Fire, the following resources will help you tap into the services, support and best practices for hybrid and remote teaching, learning and working.

  • Hybrid Teaching and Learning Resources - This site connects you to all of OIT’s recommendations, best practices and guides developed for teaching and learning in hybrid and remote modalities. Also check out the new Zoom features that enhance teaching and learning including focus mode, sharing screens in breakout rooms, and advanced polling and quizzing capabilities.
  • Technology Copilots - Technology Copilots are back and available to support remote or hybrid courses throughout the semester by helping instructors manage classroom and remote technologies such as Zoom and audiovisual equipment.
  • Remote learning guidance for students - This guide provides students with information and resources for using technology to participate in class activities remotely.
  • Hybrid Work Recommendations - OIT has worked with departments on campus to learn what issues they've faced while working remotely, and we've put together this guide so that you can find solutions that work for you and your colleagues.
  • OIT support hours - OIT has adjusted hours for support services in response to the remote start of the spring semester.

If you have questions about these or any other campus IT resources, please contact the IT Service Center at oithelp@colorado.edu or 303-735-4357.
