After winning the 2021 Pac-12 Championship, CU cross-country competes in the NCAA Mountain Region Championships. Colorado men’s basketball starts the season with two non-conference contests. Following a Homecoming weekend victory over Oregon State, Colorado football travels to Pasadena, California, to take on the UCLA Bruins.

Men’s basketball

Colorado basketball tips off the 2021–22 season on Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 8 p.m. as they host Montana State. The first 250 students will receive a free C-Unit flag, and one student will go home with a free pair of Apple AirPods Pro.

Then, on Saturday, Nov. 13, the Buffs will host New Mexico at 4:30 p.m. Students in attendance will be entered to win a pair of Apple AirPods Pro.

Cross-country

After completing their fourth Pac-12 team title sweep since 2011, both the men’s and women’s teams moved up in the rankings to second and third respectively in the latest USTFCCCA Division I Coaches Poll.

The Buffs head to Provo, Utah, on Friday, Nov. 12, for the NCAA Mountain Region Championships. 

Football

Football returns to Boulder on Saturday, Nov. 20, at 1 p.m. for the final home game of the 2021 season against Washington.

The Buffaloes will be honoring the 30th anniversary of the 1990 National Championship team. To celebrate, the Buffs will be turning ticket prices back to the average price during the 1990 season. Tickets are available here.

 Athletes of the week

On Friday, the men's and women's cross-country teams swept the Pac-12 Championships in Salt Lake City, Utah. Led by seniors Abby Nichols and Eduardo Herrera, the duo earned this week's CU Athletes of the Week, presented by Arrow.

Mya Hollingshed earned her first selection to the Women's Preseason Top 50 Watch List on ESPN.com. She was one of 10 Pac-12 women's basketball players announced on Wednesday. 


 Games to watch

Colorado football travels to Pasadena, California, on Saturday, Nov. 13, as they take on UCLA at 7 p.m. The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network.
