Award-winning actor, producer, director and activist America Ferrera kicked off this year's Buffs One Read with a live discussion at the CU Events Center on Wednesday evening before an audience of students, faculty and staff.
During her talk, she discussed her book American Like Me: Reflections on Life Between Cultures, which is this year's Buffs One Read selection. She also touched on her own college experiences, balancing different aspects of her identity and life coming out of the pandemic.
