Welcome, Buffs! On behalf of members of the CU Boulder and the city of Boulder police departments, we join together to celebrate a return to in-person learning, living and working. It’s wonderful to see your smiling faces. We are optimistic that with everyone’s cooperation, we can continue to connect and build relationships in a more traditional in-person environment than we experienced in 2020.

The world has experienced so many changes since we last welcomed students back to campus and the Boulder community. Our community suffered a great loss in the aftermath of the King Soopers shooting, several students were held accountable for destructive behavior on University Hill and COVID-19 continues to impact all of our lives.

Our departments are committed to working together to keep everyone in the Boulder community safe. After all, we share this beautiful space with vistas that remain unchanged through pandemics and times of great unrest. As always, we act with integrity, remain passionate about accountable community policing and ask for your cooperation and participation in our efforts.

We invite you to share your suggestions or concerns. If your student group or organization would like to meet with us, don’t hesitate to reach out directly. Let’s join together in anticipation and confidence for a great fall semester, and go Buffs!
