On Monday, July 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the University of Colorado Boulder Police Department’s Community Safety Operations Program will conduct an emergency response and preparedness exercise in the Hale Science Building.
In past years, the University of Colorado Boulder Police Department and the Community Safety Operations Program have worked with stakeholders to create and develop plans for emergency responses and preparedness for different campus buildings. CUPD has conducted multiple emergency response and preparedness trainings. Some of these have been for CUPD staff; other police agencies; and units across the CU Boulder campus, including Counseling and Psychiatric Services, the Office of Victim Assistance, the University Memorial Center, Career Services, the Rec Center and many others. The training on July 26 is meant to help prevent, mitigate and prepare for emergency incidents.
For any questions regarding the training, contact Public Safety Program Manager Carissa Jaquish-Rocha.
