As the semester winds down and we’re getting into a summer mindset, we asked Buffs on the @CUBoulderLife and @CUHealthyBuffs Instagram accounts to share their tips on studying, sleep, motivation and more.

What are your favorite study tips?

“Delete all social media apps off your phone the week of finals!”

“Go to the third floor in the library and study there.”

What are your must-do’s to get a good night sleep?

“Turn off my phone 30 minutes before I go to bed, it helps me not be so anxious.”

“I do a bit of stretching to help me feel more relaxed.”

“Meditation and drinking tea.”

“I read for 10 minutes before bed, it makes me sleepy.”

“I write in my journal.”

“Getting comfy.”

“Pamper yourself before bed, if you can, go buy lavender room spray, it’s super calming.”

What would you tell a friend to help them stay motivated during exam week? 

“Take breaks while studying – don’t burn yourself out.” 

“Don’t forget to eat food and drink lots of water! You’ve got this!”

“Take time for yourself, do things that make you happy and take a walk :).”

“Watch so many motivational videos.”

“Just think the semester is almost over.”

“Dance parties before each test or big assignment!!”
