In a new sets of ranking, CU Boulder placed in the top 100 among best universities in the U.S. and worldwide, continuing to hold its position among some of the world's most highly regarded institutions.
The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) placed CU Boulder 68th overall and 38th nationally in its 2021-22 list of top worldwide universities. This places CU Boulder within the top 1% of universities on CWUR's ranking.
CU Boulder was also ranked 48th in quality of faculty.
Since 2019, CWUR has ranked the top 2,000 universities out of 20,000 worldwide among a number of criteria, including quality of education, alumni employment, quality of faculty and research performance.
Last year, CU Boulder was ranked 69th overall and 39th nationally among top worldwide universities.
