At the BFA April 1, 2021 General Assembly meeting, members voted unanimously to support a resolution supporting more awareness around Anti-Asian Racism. The resolution was brought forward by the BFA Diversity Committee on March 19, 2021. At the Assembly meeting, members approved suspending the bylaws in order to vote on the measure at that meeting. BFA Diversity Committee Chair, Andrea Feldman told members "This resolution is timely and necessary in light of the recent horrific events both in our own community and nationally. We strongly condemn Anti-Asian racism, and the resolution includes testimonials to these events as well as resources to report these acts." The CU Boulder Staff Council Executive Committee also voted to support the resolution.
