While the commencement ceremony this year will be livestreamed, there will be a few in-person opportunities beginning April 20. Faculty and staff will have opportunities to volunteer to support commencement activities this year for the class of 2021.

From April 20 to 22, CU Boulder will host Gear Grab at the UMC for students to pick up cords, stoles, decorate caps, sign the alumni banner and more. On April 22 and 23, and on April 26 and 27, students have the opportunity to cross the stage in Folsom Field, get professional photos, visit with their school or college, and receive a special class of 2021 alumni gift. A good turnout is expected for both these events, and attendees and volunteers should know that organizers are working closely with CU Boulder's Pandemic Response Office to ensure all safety measures are observed for all in-person events.

If you have been missing commencement, this is your chance to get involved! The campus will need a lot of volunteer support for multiple days of commencement activities, and CU Boulder is very excited to have this chance to celebrate our graduates. Sign up to volunteer today, and thank you for your long term support of commencement.
