Happy Graduate Student Appreciation Week from your Graduate and Professional Student Government (GPSG). We’re excited to take part in this week and celebrate the work you do, which is what makes CU Boulder such a wonderful place to pursue a graduate degree.

As part of the many events hosted by the Graduate School and Student Affairs, GPSG will be hosting a BIPOC Coffee Hour, a Community Coffee Hour and a Graduate and Professional Student Picnic. We hope to see you there, as well as at the many other events on tap for this week.

We also encourage you to get involved in GPSG, as well as other on-campus organizations. GPSG is run by graduate students, for graduate students. As part of our mission, we strive to support initiatives that empower you to pursue your goals and benefit your academic, professional and social well-being.

In the last year, we’ve held both in-person and virtual social events, handed out our annual student excellence awards and travel grants, and worked with our shared governance partners (faculty, staff and undergraduate students) to address many issues relevant to both graduate students and the wider CU Boulder community.

If any of this sounds like something in which you’d be interested in participating, we are always looking for people who want to get involved. As we move toward the summer, we have a variety of positions open on our officer team and in our assembly, and we’ll be looking for graduate students to serve on various university boards and committees.

You can find more information on our GPSG website or by emailing us at gpsg@colorado.edu.

We wish you all the best!
