Memories of Service/Visions for the Future

Through interviews with CU student veterans, this series is designed to reflect the stories of young people who are wise beyond their years—students with intense curiosity and compelling ambitions. This event will feature CU student veterans Zach Guiliano and Bob DraughonLearn more and register.

Campus Green Tours

 Noon to 1 p.m.  UMC 355
Did you know that CU is one of the most sustainable campuses in the nation? From pollinator gardens, bike stations and solar panels to the on-campus recycling facility, come see for yourself how we do sustainability at CU Boulder. Be prepared to walk all over campus and get to know it better in the process. Register in advance to reserve your spot.

Feel Good Fridays

 12:15–12:45 p.m.  Virtual
Take a 30-minute break and be part of a mindfulness activity. Undo stress, soothe your nervous system and come relax. You’ll learn a few skills on how to begin your meditation journey—no experience necessary! Be sure to register to participate. 

Basic Bike Maintenance

 2–4 p.m.  UMC Bike Station
Do you know how to change your bike’s tire? How about how to change your brakes? Stop by to learn about bike anatomy, basic tools and the essential maintenance your bike needs to keep rolling! Remember to wear a face covering and maintain 6 feet of physical distance from others.

Basketball Shoot Around

 3:30–6:30 p.m.  Rec Center 
Grab a buddy and come shoot some hoops! Only three people will be allowed per basket. You’ll have your own ball, but bring your own if you can. Be sure to register in advance to reserve your spot.  

Zero Waste DIY Live: Make your own toothpaste

 5 p.m.  Instagram Live
Join the Zero Waste Outreach Team on their Instagram page for a live zero waste DIY life hack that you can add to your daily habits to reduce your environmental impact. Don’t forget to follow the CU Zero Waste Instagram account and tune in for this event.

Community Game Night: Bingo

 6:15 p.m.  Virtual
Come meet new Buffs and enjoy a unique version of bingo with the Center for Student Involvement. Play bingo-themed challenges with different groups of students during the first part of the event, and then experience the traditional form of bingo. Better yet, you’ll be competing for awesome prizes! Make sure to register for this fun-filled event.

Program Council Film Series: Mean Girls

Bring your popcorn, grab a friend and come watch Mean Girls. Cady Heron is a hit with The Plastics, the A-list girl clique at her new school, until she makes the mistake of falling for Aaron Samuels, the ex-boyfriend of alpha Plastic Regina George.

HackCU 007

HackCU is back with their biggest hackathon of the year! The event will be held virtually with lots of opportunities to meet and work with new people. Designed for all students, regardless of your experience or your major. There's something for everyone! 

Womxn of Color in STEM (Virtual) Brunch

 10:30 a.m. to noon  Virtual
The Womxn of Color in STEM Collaborative—a partnership between The BOLD Center, Miramontes Arts & Sciences Program and the WoC-STEM student organization—are proud to present the third annual WoC STEM (Virtual) Brunch with keynote speaker Gitanjali Rao. This event is free and open to all who wish to attend, regardless of identities.

Buffs After Dark: Silent disco

 7 p.m.  Rec Center
Show us your best dance moves at the Buffs After Dark silent disco. Music will be broadcast through wireless headphones. Space is limited, and registration is recommended. There will be accommodations for drop-ins if space is available.

Women Rock (for those who identify as women or nonbinary)

Noon to 2 p.m.  Rec Center
Join this inclusive event through the Rec Center with free access to the bouldering wall! The Outdoor Program will provide several staff members to offer instructional advice. This event is for both first-time climbers and experienced climbers. Sign up to get on the waitlist.
