Campus Green Tours

Did you know CU is one of the most sustainable campuses in the nation? From pollinator gardens, bike stations and solar panels to the on-campus recycling facility, come see for yourself how we do sustainability at CU Boulder. Be prepared to walk all over campus and get to know it better in the process. Register in advance to reserve your spot.

Info session for virtual Maymester seminar: China Speed

 4–5 p.m. Zoom
Immerse yourself in China's rich history and modern identity in this virtual Global Seminar, China Speed: Modernity, Memory, and Heritage. Virtual tours will take you through two main themes: "Modernity and Memory" and "Rural Urbanization and Infrastructure Development." You will virtually visit famous sites and experience cultural exchanges with scholars and students at Chinese universities. The program comes to life with a virtual cooking class and Q&A with experts in China. This course was awarded funding by the Center for Asian Studies through the Tang Fund for 2021, so each student will receive a very generous scholarship that covers most all of the cost of this course!

Womxn’s Leadership Symposium

The Womxn’s Leadership Symposium is a conference created for womxn/womxn-identified staff and students. Get ready to explore a variety of ways to develop authentic and empowered leadership skills! This year’s theme is Cultivating Growth Through Resistance and Resilience. Make sure to register to participate.

Make-n-Take: Wood-burned coasters

Meet new Buffs and pick up your own small wood-burning kit and coaster. Supplies are limited and will be given to the first 30 students who arrive.

Sweat & Learn: Nutrition and Self-Care

Learn how to put yourself first by listening to your body, and discover how our environment impacts nutrition and eating habits.

Basic Bike Maintenance

 2–4 p.m.  UMC Bike Station
Do you know how to change your bike’s tire? How about how to change your brakes? Stop by to learn about bike anatomy, basic tools and the essential maintenance your bike needs to keep rolling! Remember to wear a face covering and maintain 6 feet of physical distance from others.
