Contactless pickup

Good news: our contactless pickup service continues for CU Boulder affiliates, with a change in location. Now, you can retrieve your materials in the east entrance lobby (near the Sundial Plaza). With winter weather, we hope that this move indoors will be more comfortable for you -- and safer for the materials, too.

Don’t forget to bring your Buff OneCard!

CU Boulder affiliates can choose between over 150 study seats from the Business Library, Gemmill Library or Norlin Commons! Here’s what you need to know:

  • The Business Library opens Monday, Feb. 15.

  • Gemmill Library opens Monday, Feb. 15.

  • Norlin Commons is open Monday through Friday from 8a - 8p, and starting Sunday, Feb. 14 will be open 1 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Study space hours vary by location and may be subject to change. Affiliates will need their Buff OneCard to gain access to the Leeds School of Business, the Mathematics Building and the Commons. Seat reservations are required.

Face coverings

Is your wardrobe in need of some black and gold? Up your school spirit game with a reusable CU Boulder face coverings! We have hundreds of masks up for grabs at the front desk of each of our libraries. Find other mask stations on campus.

Digital Access

Although the stacks are closed for in-person browsing,  you can still access 48% of books from our print collection as e-books, thanks to HathiTrust’s Emergency Temporary Access Service. In addition to our many online subscription databases and resources, we are providing expanded access to nearly 100 databases and online resources. We’re continuing to negotiate comprehensive e-book collection purchases with unlimited user access from many highly used academic publishers.

You can continue to access e-books and other digital copies of materials 24/7 through OneSearch

Ask a Librarian

Our remote and virtual Ask a Librarian service is available to those needing help with course assignments and research by chat, text, email or consultation. We offer service hours every day to accommodate your busy schedule and drop-in Zoom or phone consultations during weekdays.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our three library locations and online!
