There’s still time to virtually study abroad for spring 2021

The world still awaits! Education Abroad is continuing to innovate and develop new ways for CU Boulder students to have an international experience and become global leaders in our culturally diverse world—by going abroad or staying in Boulder.

Internationalize your CU Boulder experience virtually

Participate in a virtual study abroad program: Education Abroad has new opportunities for students to gain international experience in a virtual program. Enroll in a virtual internship or academic course, and earn anywhere from 3 credits up to a full semester’s worth of credits.

Make connections around the world, add an international experience to your résumé and begin your international career now. Virtual internships are open to students from any major, and Leeds School of Business majors can earn INBU credit. Virtual internships consist of 10–15 hours of work each week along with an online course.

Students can also enroll in courses taught online by Veritas University in San José, Costa Rica. This affordable option allows students to take courses such as Renewable Energy and Resource Management, Gender and Sustainable Development, Tropical Marine Biology, and Intercultural Communication and Competence, many of which are already pre-approved for CU credit.

Education Abroad is continuing to offer a highly curated and reduced list of onsite, overseas spring 2021 programs. Students can still apply to a select number of these programs

The deadline to apply for virtual and overseas spring programs is Nov. 11, 2020. Contact Education Abroad to learn more about your options and to get started on an application.
