Beginning on Monday, Sept. 21, several gate arms on campus will be activated to restrict private vehicle traffic on the central campus corridor along Colorado Avenue and 18th Street and on Wardenburg Drive.
This is being done to help safely move bike traffic off of sidewalks and onto streets, helping reduce congestion on sidewalks to allow for easier physical distancing and more efficient flow through campus.
Gate arms will restrict vehicle traffic between Colorado Avenue in front of Folsom Field and the corner of 18th Street and Euclid Avenue, with the exception of emergency vehicles, buses, service vehicles and essential vendors.
Wardenburg Drive has been designated as a pathway for bikes and emergency vehicles only between 18th Street and Baker Drive.
