Shelbi Davenport will graduate in May with a bachelor’s degree in molecular, cellular and developmental biology, and a minor in the humanities. While at CU, she participated in the Stampede Leadership program, and served as a resident advisor in Farrand Hall for one year.
Shelbi served as the vice president of administration for CU Boulder’s Delta Delta Delta chapter last year, and served as secretary before that. In February, Shelbi was chosen to serve as a panelist at Delta Delta Delta Delta's Collegiate Leadership Convention. The panel discussed navigating change and being a strong leader through times of transition.
She currently has an internship at Raytheon Technologies, where she works as a cost account manager helper for the metrics and deployment teams, and as the systems engineering, integration and test metrics lead. After graduation, she will officially transition to being a full-time Raytheon employee. She plans to take a semester off of school, then pursue a master's degree in biodefense.
In her free time, Shelbi enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling, and is excited to go on a trip to Greece next May. When not in school, she lives in Arvada, Colorado, with her parents, 5-year-old sister, 8-year-old brother, and her dog, Gryffindor.
