 Drake Williams

Columbus, Ohio native Drake Williams will graduate this spring with cum laude, a business minor and an engineering management certificate.

“He works hard no matter what he is working on. He is always willing to help classmates in his studio or at the CINC (Creative Labs Center), and always has a smile on his face. He puts others' needs before his own and has been a shoulder for our studio to lean on.”  –Anonymous

Drake WilliamsHell yeah, guys! Through blood, sweat, and probably tears, we can finally go get jobs now! Its been a fun ride, and I’m glad I got to share it with all of you.

As Williams searched for a school to continue his education, he looked for opportunities that offered a hands-on approach.

"Anything I do I like to do hands-on," Williams said. "After seeing the facilities and courses ENVD students had access to, I was sold."

As with most ENVD students, a unique feature that the program offers is community. It's one William says he'll miss the most.

"[I'll miss] the tight-knit, small community feel that develops over the four years," Wiliams said.

Drake WilliamsFavorite memory: Finishing my first "Ping" model after days of no sleep.

Beyond graduation, Williams hopes to work to develop sustainable building materials that can be used in the real world of building on a large scale.

"Feel free to reach out if you're interested!" Williams said.
