In accordance with the order from Boulder County requiring face coverings, any individual on the CU Boulder campus is expected to follow the requirements. The order details the requirement of using a face covering when in public and within 6 feet of people outside of one’s household. Details on the county order can be found on the county website.
The campus maintains the expectation that anyone on the CU Boulder campus will follow the requirements, including critical services employees currently working on campus and students living in residence halls. The requirements of the order apply to all students, staff, faculty and members of the public walking on campus property, contractors working on campus, and others that may have a need to be on the campus during this time of remote work and remote learning.
The CU Boulder Police Department will help with educating and creating awareness of the order’s requirements and signage will be posted as needed to help remind the campus community of the county order.
The county order is currently scheduled to be in effect May 9 to May 26. Exceptions to the order are detailed on the county website.
