Program Council’s Spring Film Series will be doing a screening of “Queen & Slim” on Thursday, Feb. 20, in Chem 140 at 8 p.m. Admission is free, and popcorn is provided!

Queen & Slim (2019)

“Slim and Queen’s first date takes an unexpected turn when a policeman pulls them over for a minor traffic violation. When the situation escalates, Slim takes the officer's gun and shoots him in self-defense. Now labeled cop killers in the media, Slim and Queen feel that they have no choice but to go on the run and evade the law. When a video of the incident goes viral, the unwitting outlaws soon become a symbol of trauma, terror, grief, and pain for people all across the country.” (Google)

Program Council security is hiring!

Security guards are in charge of ensuring Program Council events go as safely and smoothly as possible. Security guards work campus movie screenings, shows at Club 156 and larger, annual events such as Welcomefest, Homecoming and the Spring Show.

This is a part-time job, and there is not a specific amount of hours or events one is required to work (with the exception of bigger events). We leave it to the guard’s discretion to sign up for shifts. That being said, applicants should be enthusiastic about joining a great team of people dedicated to helping with as many shows as possible!
