Work Anywhere desktopAre you and your department feeling the CRUNCH? As the push continues to make our spaces more efficient, you and your colleagues may be wondering what your options are for employee flexible work arrangements. Alternate schedules and work from home arrangements can be a cost effective way to enhance the existing salary and benefit package, fulfill business needs, assist with recruitment and retention, improve productivity and creativity and accommodate a changing workforce.

This month, Staff Council, along with administrators from CU’s Office of Contracts and Grants (OCG) invite you to a brief discussion and Q&A about how their department has implemented flexible work arrangements into their normal office staff’s schedule.

In this session we will explore:

  • The benefits of flexible work arrangements
  • What has worked well for OCG
  • Challenges they have faced
  • Things to consider as a manager when implementing and managing these arrangements

We highly encourage employees and their supervisors to attend, then begin the conversation to determine if Flexible Work Arrangements are right for your office. Light refreshments will be provided.

Speakers:
Alexa Van Dalsem, Assistant Director, Office of Contracts and Grants
Denitta Ward, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research & Director, Office of Contracts and Grants
