Friday, Jan. 24

Fri-Yay Nights: Hot chocolate, snacks and crafts

Check out this new show opening in the ATLAS Black Box (the first performance in the space since a September 2018 flood). With a set made of plywood and steel that resembles a construction site, artist Laura Ann Samuelson explores the "gap between the laws of physics and the mechanics of a psyche."

CU Night at the National Western Stock Show

What better way to kick off a new semester than by having fun with hundreds of fellow Buffs at a more than 100-year-old Colorado tradition: the National Western Stock Show. Relive your childhood and learn about physics during this CU Wizards presentation by CU Boulder physics Professor James Thompson. You'll learn how superheroes' understanding of fundamental physics ensures truth and thwarts villains!

Stranger Things Night: CU vs Washington men’s basketball

7 p.m.,  CU Events Center
Early arriving fans will receive a free Stranger Things-themed team poster. Students are admitted for free with their CU Sports Pass, or tickets can be bought at the door for $10.

Women's lacrosse: CU vs Northwestern
