Hey Buff fans: The CU basketball season is underway! The first home game will be on Nov. 16 with a tipoff time of 8 p.m. There are 32 scheduled games through Feb. 23, 2020, that will impact campus parking and traffic flow. Please refer to the athletics website for CU men’s basketball dates and times and CU women’s basketball dates and times for specific days when parking will be affected.

Throughout the season, traffic on and around campus is expected to be extremely heavy beginning one and a half hours prior to game time and up to one hour post-game. Police and parking staff will continue to be on site to assist with traffic flow, and employees/students should expect delays during this time.

Some lots will experience parking permit restrictions up to four hours prior to game time. Those permit holders will be notified via email of restrictions and alternate parking arrangements.

Public parking for basketball games on Main Campus is no-charge in the basketball public lots identified in the parking map posted on the Parking Services basketball page. During games, all CU Boulder parking permits are honored in public basketball parking areas on a space-available basis. (Patrons must pay, as required, in lots not identified as public basketball parking.)

Parking permit holders who return to campus during a game may find their permitted lot/zone to be full. If this occurs, permit holders may be directed to an alternate lot but must park in their permitted lot as soon as possible following the game, as normal parking enforcement will resume at 9 a.m. the following day.

For more parking details, check the Parking Services basketball page.
