The Inclusive Sports Summit (ISS) will provide a space for all to dialogue on social issues while embracing one's differences through interactive presentations, panel discussion, and experiential opportunities. ISS will challenge recreational and professional sports and collegiate athletics to examine their social constructs specific to race, gender, sexual orientation, ability and class.

Topics will include social justice, LGBTQ, race and ethnicity, health and wellness, and careers in relation to sports and recreation. With the theme Awareness Leading to Action, we are committed to ensuring individuals are aware of our social climate through the lens of sports and have the tools that can lead to action.

This event is open to the public and will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020. Proposals for sessions are now being accepted through Dec. 16, 2019.
