Fan Information For CU/Nebraska Football Game

BOULDER - CU and Nebraska kick off in football on Saturday at Folsom Field at 1:30 p.m. This rivalry game has a storied history and we are so glad to be able to add another chapter here in Folsom Field in 2019. It is important to us that as fans, we act with class and are courteous hosts to our visiting fans here to cheer on their team. Rivalries in sports are supposed to be fun and intense for all involved, but we can do so in a manner that puts respect first for our fellow football fans. Be loud, support your team, and make the University of Colorado proud in every way

Here are some important updates ahead of the 2019 season home opener:

Parking
Parking lots for most games will open 6 hours before kickoff BUT no earlier than 8 a.m. For the Nebraska game, parking lots will open at 8 a.m. Public parking passes for non-donor lots available for purchase online now.
 
Buff Walk
The Buff Walk is moving to Franklin Field! Previously the team would arrive and walk down the sidewalk to the Champions Center, now they will walk through Franklin Field. This week the Buffs will arrive at 11:15 a.m.
 
Ralphie's Corral/Tailgating
Open to everyone, Ralphie's Corral, the free tailgate before all home games, is behind the Duane Physics building! For Nebraska the tailgate opens at 10 a.m. and features Ralphie, Chip and more!
 
Chip's Kids Club
Chip's Kids Club Area has moved to the Indoor Practice Facility. There will be inflatables, yard games, football toss and more. This area opens two hours prior to kickoff and will close at the end of the 3rd quarter.
 
Food Menus
CU and Levy Restaurants are excited to bring new flavors to the stadium this season with local food truck vendors from the Boulder and Denver area. Grab-and-go options will also be available, helping fans get back to action faster.
 
Recyclable Cups
Ball Corporation and the University of Colorado announced a partnership to introduce Ball's infinitely recyclable aluminum cup to collegiate football fans at CU's Folsom Field during the 2019 football season.
 
Metal Detectors
Security for this season includes walkthrough metal detectors at every gate. Fans will have their clear bags inspected. Please allow for plenty of time to enter the stadium and gates open two hours before kickoff.
 
Clear Bag Policy
Clear Bag Policy is in place. Remember that security is everyone's responsibility and if you see something that doesn't seem right, say something. Please review our policies and regulations.
 
Pearl Street Stampede (Friday Night)
The Pearl Street Stampede pep rally is back this fall. Occurring every night before a football game, the event will start at 7 p.m. in front of the county courthouse and move west along Pearl Street to the Pearl Street Mall. This week's Stampede will be Friday night.
 
Led by Stephen Tebo's vintage 1948 fire truck, come see members of the CU Football Team, Golden Buffalo Marching Band, the Spirit Squad and other special guests before home football games at the Pearl Street Stampede.
