As the semester kicks off, there are plenty of Buffs competing in fall sports. Let’s get out and cheer them on. Go Buffs!

The Buffs 2019 football season starts Friday with a new head coach in Mel Tucker and an old rival in Colorado State, with the Buffs once again playing the Rams in the Rocky Mountain Showdown. Be sure to wear your best Buffs gear that day, and remember: if you're going to the game, wear WHITE Buffs gear! Tickets: CU Sports Plan.

The men's and women's cross-country teams look for another strong season. The women's team will seek to defend their 2018 NCAA Championship and return a pair of All-Americans in seniors Sage Hurta and Tabor Scholl.

The men earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships and finished fourth overall there, following a third place finish in the Pac-12 Championship. Returning for the Buffs are a talented core with three All-Americans: seniors John Dressel and Joe Klecker, and junior Eduardo "Lalo" Herrera

Both teams will start the season at the Wyoming Invitational on Sept. 6.

The men's and women's golf teams kick off their fall seasons in September. The men's team opens the season Sept. 6–8 at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational in Colorado Springs, while the women's team starts the season Sept. 9–10 at the SMU Trinity Forest Invitational in Dallas.
