Graduate Teacher Program Fall Intensive

Aug. 21–23  The Graduate Teacher Program holds its fall intensive workshop, Aug. 21–23, Fleming 154 – 157, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. All interested GPTIs, RAs, graduate students on fellowships, and other graduate students are invited to participate and meet peers, professors, and staff from across campus.

The workshops are designed to help graduate students teach at CU Boulder, to begin your professional development as a professor in postsecondary education, and to explore nonacademic job opportunities. Questions, call 303-492-4902.

Getting started: Goals and accountability workshop

Aug. 30  Designed for graduate students in their first and second years, this weekly accountability seminar helps you set goals, manage your time efficiently and maintain good writing habits. 12 to 1 p.m. in the Center for Academic Success and Engagement building, room W311.

12-Week Fall Publication Bootcamp

Sept. 5–Nov. 21  For graduate students and postdocs who have a course paper, conference paper or dissertation chapter they would like to publish. Take advantage of this weekly workshop based on the book "Writing Your Journal Article in Twelve Weeks" by Wendy Belcher. Noon to 1 p.m. in UMC room 425.
