A federal appeals court ruled Tuesday that President Donald Trump is violating the First Amendment by blocking certain Twitter users from the account that he uses to speak as president.

Helen Norton, author of the upcoming book, “The Government’s Speech and the Constitution,” is available for media interviews discussing the ruling and why it will likely stand should it be elevated to the Supreme Court. Norton is a professor and Ira C. Rothgerber, Jr. Chair in Constitutional Law at the University of Colorado School of Law. She also signed onto an amicus brief in the case.
