Meanwhile, California Rep. Eric Swalwell ended his White House bid, citing fundraising challenges.

Political Science Professor Ken Bickers comments on why fundraising during the “invisible primary” - the period between when a candidate announces their bid for public office and the actual primaries - is so vital to candidates and that we can expect more cadidates to withdraw from the race in the coming months.
