Deadlines for August graduation

Miss these deadlines for August graduation?

June 1: Doctoral and master’s graduation application deadline 
Doctoral and master’s students must apply online to graduate through MyCUInfo in order to have the degree awarded in August. This is required even though there is no university-wide ceremony.

June 3: Master’s candidacy application
Master’s students must submit to the Graduate School a candidacy application for an advanced degree in order to graduate in August. Applications must be approved by the academic department before submission. 

If you missed these deadlines, please contact your graduate program assistant.

July 1: Dissertation title update

Doctoral students planning to graduate in August who wish to update their dissertation title must do so through the graduation application in MyCUInfo. The dissertation title will appear on your transcript after your degree is awarded.


Workshops and seminars

Summer writing accountability seminars

 Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays  9–10 a.m.  UMC
These seminars will help you set goals and maintain good writing habits, while fostering relationships with your peers across disciplines. All graduate students are welcome. Please fill out this Google Form to RSVP. Email questions to sarah.tynen@colorado.edu. Check the location.

Dissertation write-in

​ Thursdays  8 a.m. to noon  UMC 425
Join other graduate students in this coffee-house-style setting dedicated to all graduate writing. Use all or some of the time allotted. Drop-ins are welcome.
