This weekend brings International Coffee Hour, the CMCI Student Showcase, a street dance competition, College Night at the Rockies, Caribbean and Cajun folk jazz, the Radio 1190 Spring Fest and more.

Celebrate National Student Employment Week with free cake

1–3 p.m. Regent
Stop by the north side of Regent and have a free slice of cake! If the weather is poor, cake will be served in the atrium inside Regent.

International Coffee Hour

4–5:30 p.m.  Outside Alferd Packer Grill
Stop by and unwind at the International Coffee Hour, a weekly gathering co-hosted by International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) and CU International. Enjoy some free coffee, cake and amazing conversations while meeting awesome new people!

CMCI Student Showcase

4:30–6:30 p.m. CASE
You're invited to check out work by CMCI students across all disciplines. There will be free snacks!

College Night at the Rockies

5 p.m. Coors Field
Join The Herd for College Night at the Rockies and watch the Colorado Rockies take on the Philadelphia Phillies. Tickets are $20 for Herd members and $25 for non-members. Your ticket includes free food at the pregame reception at Blake Street Tavern and a Rockies beanie. Registration is required.

Bowling and food drive

5–7 p.m. The Connection
Grab a can of beans, jar of peanut butter, or some packaged pasta, and join International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) and Boulder Friends of International Students (BFIS) for a fun night of bowling during their food drive. This event is entirely free, but please register.

Join the Cultural Events Board for a free concert by Leyla McCalla, a multi-instrumentalist performing on vocals, cello, banjo and guitar. She brings the realities of financial hardship and current political situations in the U.S. and globally to the stage as an art form.

Did you know the Buff Pool is officially open for spring? As long as outdoor temperatures are at least 75 degrees, you can take a plunge. Who's ready to jump in?

VeRVE Collisionz 12th annual Street Dance Competition

7 p.m.  UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom
Don’t miss the 12th annual VeRVE Collisionz Dance Competition, where 12 dance teams will compete to be crowned champion. Admission is free.

Boulder Laptop Orchestra: Songs of Space

7 p.m.  Fiske Planetarium
Have you ever heard of a laptop orchestra? Did you know that CU has one? Well come check it out! Boldly going where no laptop orchestra has gone before, the Boulder Laptop Orchestra integrates technology with performers in an electro-acoustic ensemble, providing live interaction between the two. Join BLOrk as they journey away from Earth, playing music inspired by the many rich and weird sounds from intergalactic infinity and beyond! Tickets are $15.
