Friday, Feb. 8
Front Range Eco-Social Solutions

This free two-day conference on Feb. 8–9 offers a weekend of sharing, learning and action. Come explore ideas and careers at the intersection of sustainability and innovation. The conference will feature re-broadcasted presentations from the annual Bioneers gathering of innovators and visionaries, and local presenters sharing solutions and innovations around environmental and social topics.
Winter Bike to Work Day
4–6 p.m. UMC Bike Station
For this international holiday, students, staff and the community are encouraged to bike to work in order to help the environment (take the pledge). CU Student Government will host an event in front of the bike station at the UMC where they will be giving out food and warm drinks!
CU Women’s Basketball vs. UCLA
7 p.m. CU Events Center
Support the Buffs as they take on the UCLA Bruins. Also, the Buffs are participating in the Play4Kay National Free Throw Challenge to help raise money to fight against cancer. Get two game tickets, hot dog and soda for $13.
Fri-Yay Nights: CU Rave Club presents Speakerbox

Join CU Rave Club for a night of free music and dancing in Club 156! Concert lineup includes EXO, Yoko, Dr. Phil and a special guest.

T9Hacks: Women and non-binary hackathon
Feb. 9-10 ATLAS Center
Have fun solving problems, exploring new technologies and building something creative during this 24-hour hackathon. There will be workshops, mentors, food, games and swag. Free registration.
2019 Lunar New Year Show

Ring in the Lunar New Year with Vietnamese Student Association’s annual Culture Show! There will be free Vietnamese food, Lion Dancing, traditional and modern dancing and more. This event is free.
Catapult: A BFA dance concert

How are stories of women in warfare across cultures and time periods being told? Why do we predict the stories of people with mental disorders? What are the cultural barriers keeping American men from participating in concert dance? Emerging dance artists explore the risks and rigors of these topics.
